About My Job Chase

Why I built this

Job searches get messy fast. Applications end up scattered across a spreadsheet, a notes app, and a dozen email threads, and it gets hard to remember what you sent where or how long ago. I wanted one simple place to keep the record instead, so I built My Job Chase for my own search first, and decided to make it something anyone else running a search could use too.

What it does now

Log every application: the company, the role, and the date you applied. Track its status as it moves through Applied, Online Assessment, Interview, Offer, Rejected, or Ghosted. Everything is kept in one private record you can look back on whenever you want.

What's next

These are planned, not built yet:

• Analytics on your job search, like response rates and how long things typically take.
• Tips based on patterns in your own applications, so you can see what to try differently.

Privacy

Each account is private. You only ever see your own applications, nobody else's. Passwords are hashed and never stored in plain text. Email verification is required before an account can be used.
